I also play a role in coaching the billing employees on communicating with our customers.

When I started in 2000, I established procedures to help increase productivity while maintaining the response time and number of employees needed. We can truly be proud of the personalized service we offer our customers! I love my work and what motivates me the most is succeeding in helping my colleagues and our customers!

What was your most memorable moment of the 2017 Circle of Excellence?
It was when my boss at the time, Nicolas Simard, presented my award with a very touching speech. For me, this was a real pat on the back that highlighted the recognition of my team and my colleagues’ sincere friendship.

For me, this is the only way to bring constructive solutions and results.

What was the highlight of your 2017 Circle of Excellence experience?
The speeches! While managers are supposed to speak about each winner in a positive manner, they conveyed their thoughts sincerely and directly without a script, it was very touching. I also appreciated that the manager presenting the award had actually worked with the recipient and was familiar with their day-to-day efforts. And of course, all the winners’ speeches were heartfelt and moving, it was a big moment for everyone!

“One of Dicom’s greatest strengths is recognizing and developing its employees’ talents”

What has been your career path at Dicom?
I started off as a lead hand in 2016 for the AM dock in Brampton. I was then promoted to Operations Manager for the dedicated business. When I started in this position, there were only five dedicated routes: I watched Dicom expand this business into seven cities across North America with over 200 routes! As the business grew, I was given the opportunity to manage multiple Dicom Dedicated Fleet locations as a Regional Manager. I was then promoted to Director Dedicated Fleet in October 2017. I cannot believe how far I have come this quickly!

What do you think has contributed to your success at Dicom?
If I have succeeded at Dicom, it is because of my colleagues who support me on a daily basis. It is no secret that one’s team plays a big role in one’s success. Outside of my work, my mother and my wife encourage me constantly. My mother’s lessons are invaluable and my wife’s support is vital for balancing my personal and professional life.

One of Dicom’s greatest strengths is recognizing and developing its employees’ talents. My professional growth is one example of many. Dicom values employees’ opinions and suggestions and promotes development and growth, which is very appreciated by all the employees! Dicom is a great company because it is made up of employees who respect each other and put value on the customers’ happiness. We are really good at doing this at Dicom!
